The European Regulation 679/2016

The European Regulation 679/2016 or "General Data Protection Regulation"; fully replaces the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003. The regulation establishes, in particular, that the interested party (hereinafter will be named as “interested party") must be informed in advance Art. 13 about the use of data concerning him/her and that the processing of personal data is allowed only with the a clear consent of the interested party except the exceptional occasion, governed by Art. 06. in particular in points b) the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or for the performance of pre-contractual measures requested of the data subject; c) the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject; processed in compliance with current legislation on business and industrial secrecy.

To this end, pursuant to Art. 13 of the Regulations, the company Fait Group s.p.a. , located in Via Scarpettini, 367-369 - 59013 Montemurlo (PO), as “TITOLARE";, provides the following information. The purpose of the processing is to complete the existing contract:

  • To settle the provision of products or services in the case of a supply;
  • To disburse the sum foregone by the contract in the event of a sale;
  • To send promotional communication (subject to consent);
  • For the purpose of protection through video surveillance;
  • For the safety of navigation via wifi at our sites

The legal basis for the treatment is the commercial relationship created by the sale or purchase of goods and/or services, with regard to Article 6(b) and (c) of this Regulation (state rule). Giving consent and security purposes

The personal data provided by you as data subject (the natural person to whom the personal data refer), will be processed in compliance with current legislation, using manual, computerized and telematics, (with logic strictly related to the purposes) and may involve all the operations provided in Article 4, paragraph 2 of the Regulation. In any case, all data are processed in compliance with the law and the confidentiality obligations imposed by the same. Personal data are processed as part of the normal business of Fait group s.p.a., for the purposes of describing the macro process of the company (creation of products for linear and rotary motion, and for power transmission), for the purposes for which the data are processed, and all the management and operational activities related to it (e. g. billing, credit protection, other administrative, management and organizational services).

In relation to the above-mentioned purposes, any “particular"; data (ex. sensible data) referring to the person concerned will be treated.

The bestowal of personal data to Fait Group s.p.a. for the above purposes is mandatory, as without your data we may not be able to provide you with all or part of your requested activity. It is optional only for sending promotional material

The recipients of the data (exclusively for the purposes indicated above and always limited to what is strictly within their competence in relation to the specific relationship between you and Fait Group s.p.a.), as applicable, may or shall be communicated to the persons or categories of persons listed below:

  • Public bodies for inspection and control activities - institutionally responsible or expressly delegated to these tasks by the Law;
  • Companies and professionals who carry out on our behalf the activity of control and verification of the accounts, or payroll management;
  • Companies of our trust that carry out tasks of a technical or organizational nature on our behalf; the same is also true for the subjects already indicated in this information notice to whom the data is communicated.

Geographical scope of processing: Your personal data will always be processed within the European Community.
Retention: Your personal data will be processed exclusively for administrative and accounting purposes for a period not exceeding to the one foreseen by the current tax regulations for the retention of documents (10 years). Even a request for cancellation will not prevail over this type of storage. Video surveillance data are stored 24 hours, navigation data 30 days.

Profiling: Your data will not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, which may produce legal consequences or may significantly affect you in a similar way.

Cancellation and Amendment: you have the right to know, at any time, which of your data are at the individual data controllers, i. e. at our offices or at the subjects indicated above to whom we communicate them, and how they are used; you also have the right to have them updated, supplemented, corrected or deleted, to request their blocking and to refuse their processing. For the pursuit of your rights, as well as for more detailed information about the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data are communicated or who becomes aware of them as managers or appointees; you can contact the data controller or one of its managers, identified at the beginning of the information.

Rights: You may exercise your rights against the data controller at any time, in accordance with Article 15 et seq. of the Regulation.
